In honor of the giving season I thought it was a perfect time to revisit one of my favorite blog topics, local places to donate or volunteer! As part of the eastern shore community, My Way Leases is always looking for ways to help their friends, family and neighbors. The past few years have been full of constant twists and turns to say the least. As a nation we've started getting back to normal but many had lost jobs, homes, loved ones and more. The pandemic and the economy has hit hard but one thing remains true. It’s always easier to get through something together. This is a great time to utilize any extra time or money you may have and donate or volunteer at one of the many great local organizations that make the community a better place. The great thing about donating and volunteering is it doesn’t matter how much or how little you have to give, every second or cent is appreciated. I’ve personally been a part of the eastern shore for 12 years and even though I wasn’t born here I consider this place my home and that’s because of the people around here. It’s a special place and these blog posts are about connecting you to the different organizations who can help you find where to help.
